How the room works
Honest reviews, real work credited to the member who did it, and a low tolerance for noise. Here's the short version.
A seat for everyone
Puff Rate is a lounge, not a feed. Every member gets a seat and a voice — the newcomer who just cut their first robusto and the collector with a thousand sticks in the cooler. You don't have to know the language to belong here. You'll pick it up.
What's welcome
- Honest reviews. Write what you tasted, not what the band told you to taste.
- Corrections. If a record is wrong, fix it. A single edit settles it for everyone after you.
- Photos of the real thing. Lit, ashed, halfway gone — the cigar is a working object.
- Disagreement. The room is often split. Say why you landed where you did.
What isn't
- Advertising dressed as a review. If you're paid to say it, it's not a review.
- Fake or duplicate accounts to pad a score.
- Harassment. Argue about the cigar, never the member.
- Spam, scraping, and resale of the record. The data stays open; the room stays clean.
How we keep score
Ratings are member opinions, aggregated and shown with their spread — not a verdict handed down from on high. A $200 stick gets the same calm treatment as a $6 one. Wealth and rarity are metadata, not status.
Moderation
The lounge has a host. Reviews and edits become a durable, citable record, so we remove what's fraudulent or abusive and keep the rest — even when it's unflattering. If something here is wrong about you or your brand, tell us and we'll look.
