  • Earthiness: Present throughout, with subtle flower-like and rose petal flavors.
  • Creamy Leather: Mid-way through the cigar, transitioning from earthy to a smooth creamy leather.
  • Nutty: Salty, nut-like flavors emerge around the halfway mark.
  • Spices: Very subtle, with a hint of baking spices on the retrohale.

  • Transition: Flavor transitions from sweet earthiness to creamier leather, chocolate, and nutty profiles as the cigar progresses.

General Notes

  • cold draw was muted sweetness mixed with earthiness
  • Initial light and draw was smooth
  • that sweet earthiness was enriched
  • a few puffs in and some additional touchup and I am getting notes of honey
  • Retrohale has become easier to do now
  • and it creates a very light and airy profile at the back of my tongue
  • another puff
  • and that profile in the back is earthy
  • flower-like
  • reminiscent of that rose
  • petal flavor I got in the past one drinking lemonade
  • worth noting I took a drink of Coke zero a few puffs ago
  • when I focus more on that flower like taste
  • I get a bit of sappy on the sides of my tongue
  • but it feels elevated
  • the taste is transitioning into a creamy leather
  • I think I am getting a sense of saltiness
  • borderline nut-like
  • definitely getting some chocolate profile now
  • I am about 1/7 of the way through
  • copious amount of smoke on each puff
  • I am taking one puff every 45 seconds give or take a few seconds
  • took another sip of my Coke zero
  • for the first time in any of the cigars I've smoked. I am noticing a coffee profile
  • I am not getting any sort of spice with this particular
  • rare black
  • there's some sweetness here
  • somewhat sappy
  • I am having trouble discerning what it is… I think it is caramel?
  • there's still that flower profile
  • I know for a fact
  • if I was drinking lemonade
  • I'd probably get that rose petal taste
  • i've slowed down my puff rate to about 60 seconds and I am doing a lighter draw now
  • started being too gentle on my puffs
  • and it went out had to light it back up
  • I am now 1/3 of the way through this in about 30 minutes
  • took another sip of Coke zero then a decent puff and got some salty nuts flavor
  • went back to a puff rate of 45 seconds
  • a big pull with a retrohale and exhale produced
  • slight baking spices in the back of my mouth
  • That subtle earthy
  • flower like profile has stuck with me from the beginning
  • I'm about halfway through the cigar at about one hour
  • I had to touch up the cigar a little bit or was about to go out
  • going into the final third
  • and I am experiencing more nuttiness and some chocolate flavor profile
  • Earthiness is still there
  • the last two inches required constant touch-ups
