Backstory: The Boxare is Catelli Cigar Company's box-pressed maduro line, debuted at IPCPR 2016. It is produced by Erik Espinosa at the La Zona factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.
Release: First shown at IPCPR 2016 with a limited pre-launch ahead of August 8, 2016 and a full release shortly after the show. Originally offered in three box-pressed sizes — Robusto (5 x 52), Toro (6 x 52), and Gordo (6 x 60).
Tobacco: Box-pressed with a rich Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper over an all-Nicaraguan binder and filler.
Color: Dark, oily San Andrés maduro wrapper — classified as Maduro.
Conflict / gap: A 'Short Robusto' size does not appear in the standard three-size Boxare lineup (Robusto, Toro, Gordo) across the retailers and review sources checked. It is likely a later addition, event, or shop-exclusive size. Vitola mapped to the closest standard (Petit Robusto) with marketed name preserved in customVitola. Length is unconfirmed — ring gauge assumed 52 to match the rest of the line; verify exact dimensions before finalizing.
Gap: Per-stick MSRP for the Short Robusto was not found in research sources — left null.
Strength: Reviews describe rich espresso and dark-chocolate notes without overwhelming power — classified as Medium (some palates may read Medium-Full).
