Backstory: Grandes Maestros ("Great Masters") is Casa Molina's new annual collaboration series, with each edition blended by a different master cigar maker. This inaugural 2025 edition was crafted by legendary Dominican blender Eladio Díaz at his own Tabacalera Díaz Cabrera factory in the Dominican Republic — the first time Casa Molina has produced a cigar at that facility. The name "Por Eladio Díaz" means "by Eladio Díaz," honoring the featured blender. Future editions will likely spotlight different blenders, though past collaborators may return.

Backstory: Casa Molina is a multi-generational cigar company founded by Don Roberto Molina. The family owns Habana Port Cigar Merchants, which operates two retail locations in Louisiana. Casa Molina cigars were sold exclusively at their own stores for over a decade before being offered to other retailers for the first time at PCA 2025. Other lines in the Casa Molina portfolio include Molino de Viento, Pelayo, Valle de la Muerte, Lagniappe, and Tabacum.

Release: Began shipping March 10, 2026. Limited to 8,000 cigars (320 boxes of 25). The "2025" in the name refers to the blend edition year.

Tobacco: Wrapper and binder are described simply as "Dominican" — no specific leaf type, region, or seed variety was disclosed. Filler combines Dominican and U.S. tobaccos. No further detail on priming, aging, or specific growing regions was provided.

Fun Fact: The series concept allows Casa Molina to collaborate with a rotating cast of legendary blenders each year, essentially creating a curated annual showcase of cigar-making artistry under one brand umbrella.
