Z-Class Corona

Backstory: Released under the Zino Platinum sub-brand of Oettinger Davidoff AG. Z-Class was positioned as the boldest, most full-bodied entry in the Zino Platinum range at debut, broadening the brand beyond the milder Crown and Scepter blends.

Release: Launched in 2011 as a regular production line, alongside the rest of the Z-Class sizes.

Tobacco: Dominican wrapper, Peruvian Pelo de Oro Visus binder, and a filler blend of Nicaraguan and Honduran ligeros — described as Jalapa Especial Ligero, Estelí Ligero, Cuban Seed Ligero, and San Vicente Ligero. The Pelo de Oro varietal is rare and prized in luxury blends.

Color: Wrapper appearance is described as a rustic milk-chocolate brown with a subtle sheen and fine veining — consistent with the Colorado classification.

Fun Fact: Z-Class is produced at the Tabadom (Tabacos Dominicanos) factory in the Dominican Republic — the same facility that produces the flagship Davidoff line.
