Highclere Castle — now famous as the filming location of Downton Abbey — became filled with Egyptian artifacts from the expeditions he funded.\n\nThe Senetjer is a collaboration between Foundation Cigar Co.'s Nicholas Melillo and George Herbert

the 8th Earl of Carnarvon (great-grandson of the original excavation's patron). The name 'Senetjer' comes from the ancient Egyptian word for incense

translated as 'of the gods' or 'that which makes holy.'\n\nThe packaging is as remarkable as the cigar itself: the box is a replica of a storage box found in Tutankhamun's tomb

designed in collaboration with archaeologists Colleen and John Darnell. Highclere Castle is translated into ancient hieroglyphics and inscribed on the box's facing. The packaging earned 5th place in halfwheel's 2022 Top Ten Packaging Awards. Originally released as a limited edition in 2022
