Backstory: CigarKings is a Munich-based cigar house founded in 2016 by Philipp Kugler. The brand is developed in Germany and produced in Estelí, Nicaragua by a small family-run factory whose identity the brand keeps closely guarded.

Release: Debuted at InterTabac 2025 in Dortmund. Limited to 2,000 boxes of 12 cigars (24,000 total). MSRP €15.50 per stick (≈ $18.30 USD).

Tobacco: Wrapper is Ecuadorian Habano 2000 in a Colorado Claro shade. Underneath sit two Corojo-seed binder leaves from Jalapa, Nicaragua. Filler is a blend of Habano 2000 from Estelí and Corojo from Jalapa. Construction uses the traditional Cuban Entubado rolling technique — each filler leaf rolled into its own tube — finished with a triple cap and the brand's signature Flag Tail pigtail on top.

Color: Wrapper presents as a soft mocha brown with a smooth, oily sheen, intentionally tuned to reference the warm chocolate-and-cream tone of the 2025 Pantone palette. A clean Colorado Claro classification.

Fun Fact: This is the third entry in the COY series, following the COY 23 Belicoso Connecticut Tube (Viva Magenta, 2023) — notably the brand's first-ever Connecticut wrapper — and the COY 24 Geniales Colorado (Peach Fuzz, 2024). Each year's vitola, blend, and presentation change to match the inspiration color.

Fun Fact: The signature Flag Tail is an oversized decorative pigtail finish atop the triple cap — a recognizable identity marker for the brand and the centerpiece of the 2025 edition's packaging visual.
